Trust (2/3)

Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.
In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.
But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him.
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.Do not envy the violent or choose any of their ways. For the Lord detests the perverse but takes the upright into his confidence.
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end.We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.
