Trust (2/3)

How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you, in the presence of all the people. How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those who fear You, Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You, Before the sons of mankind!
In God, whose word I praise, in God I place my trust and know no fear; what can people do to me?In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
Beloved, do not trust every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world.Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask him, we may be sure that all we ask of him will be ours. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to place your trust in mortals. It is better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in people.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart places its trust in him. He has helped me, and I exult; then with my song I praise him.The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart triumphs, And with my song I shall thank Him.
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You place your trust in God. Trust also in me.Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
O Lord, you grant peace to those who are steadfast because of their trust in you.The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You.
Those who revere your name place their trust in you, for you never abandon those who seek you, O Lord. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You.
Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we can approach God with confidence and receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do whatever is pleasing to him.Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience. But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.
I do not say this because I have been in need, for I have learned to be content with whatever I have. Not that I speak from need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.
As for me, I trust in your kindness; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord because he has been good to me.But I have trusted in Your faithfulness; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, Because He has looked after me.
Even if an army encamps against me, my heart will not succumb to fear; even if war breaks out against me, I will not have my trust shaken. If an army encamps against me, My heart will not fear; If war arises against me, In spite of this I am confident.
He answered, “Because you have such little faith. Amen, I say to you, if you have faith as tiny as a mustard seed, you will be able to say to this mountain: ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”And He said to them, “Because of your meager faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
O Lord, let your kindness rest upon us, for we have placed our hope in you.Let Your favor, Lord, be upon us, Just as we have waited for You.
Love does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. It does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Although the mountains may be shaken and the hills may totter, my steadfast love will not depart from you, and my covenant of peace will never be shaken, says the Lord who has compassion on you.“For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My favor will not be removed from you, Nor will My covenant of peace be shaken,” Says the Lord who has compassion on you.
Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be accomplished for him.Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted to him.

For the devious are an abomination to the Lord; But He is intimate with the upright.
And now, dear children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not be put to shame by him at his coming. Now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not draw back from Him in shame at His coming.
