Trust (2/3)

How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those who fear You, Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You, Before the sons of mankind!
In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans. It is better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in people.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart triumphs, And with my song I shall thank Him.
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You.
Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You.
Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.
I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. Not that I speak from need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.
But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.But I have trusted in Your faithfulness; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, Because He has looked after me.
Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident. If an army encamps against me, My heart will not fear; If war arises against me, In spite of this I am confident.
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”And He said to them, “Because of your meager faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.Let Your favor, Lord, be upon us, Just as we have waited for You.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. It does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him.The steps of a man are established by the Lord, And He delights in his way.
“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.“For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My favor will not be removed from you, Nor will My covenant of peace be shaken,” Says the Lord who has compassion on you.
Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted to him.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. He alone is my rock and my salvation, My refuge; I will not be shaken.
I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.I certainly believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.
Do not envy the violent or choose any of their ways. For the Lord detests the perverse but takes the upright into his confidence.Do not envy a violent person, And do not choose any of his ways. For the devious are an abomination to the Lord; But He is intimate with the upright.
And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming. Now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not draw back from Him in shame at His coming.

We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.For we have become partakers of Christ if we keep the beginning of our commitment firm until the end.
