- God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

- For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.Next verse!With image
