Chinese (traditional)
A wholesome tongue is a tree of life,
But perverseness in it breaks the spirit.
The soothing tongue is a tree of life,
but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.
A wholesome tongue is a tree of life:
but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.A gentle tongue is a tree of life,
but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. Gentle words are a tree of life;
a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit. A gentle tongue is a tree of life,
but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. A gentle tongue is a tree of life,
but deceit in it crushes the spirit. A soothing tongue is a tree of life,
But perversion in it crushes the spirit. A wholesome tongue is a tree of life,
but an undisciplined tongue crushes the spirit. For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law. Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.Next verse!With image
