- Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,

And afterward to reconsider his vows. - Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life. - But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”

- He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
- For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
- The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein. - Will you set your eyes on that which is not?
For riches certainly make themselves wings;
They fly away like an eagle toward heaven. - Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
- So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
- It is honorable for a man to stop striving,
Since any fool can start a quarrel. - The entrance of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple. - I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.
- If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
- Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it. - Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.
