Bible Verses about 'It'
- Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
When it is in your power to do it. - If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.

And He adds no sorrow to it. - Now while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
- Now if your right eye is causing you to sin, tear it out and throw it away from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
- Turn from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it. - Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Than to trust in people. - But I say to you, take no oath at all, neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God, nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet, nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
- When you set your eyes on it, it is gone.
For wealth certainly makes itself wings
Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens. - And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not grasp it.

For from it flow the springs of life. - But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and follow it.”
- The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- For the moment, all discipline seems not to be pleasant, but painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.
- But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
- For what does it benefit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?
- You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by people.
- Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will do it.
- And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is being poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.”
- As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.
- Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
- If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- The unfolding of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple. - A fool always loses his temper,
But a wise person holds it back. - I have set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall serve as a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth.
- God is not a man, that He would lie,
Nor a son of man, that He would change His mind;
Has He said, and will He not do it?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? - Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.
