Chinese (traditional)This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another. By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. This is how we know what love is:
he laid down his life for us,
and we in turn must be prepared
to lay down our lives for our brethren. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.Next verse! With image
