Chinese (traditional)![Proverbs 12:16 - NKJV](/images/simple/nkjv/proverbs-12-16.png)
A fool’s wrath is known at once,
But a prudent man covers shame.
Fools show their annoyance at once,
but the prudent overlook an insult.
A fool's wrath is presently known:
but a prudent man covereth shame.The vexation of a fool is known at once,
but the prudent ignores an insult. A fool is quick-tempered,
but a wise person stays calm when insulted. Fools show their anger at once,
but the prudent ignore an insult. A fool shows his annoyance the same day,
but one who overlooks an insult is prudent. A fool’s anger is known at once,
But a prudent person conceals dishonor. A fool is quick to show his anger,
but a prudent man ignores an insult. Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”Next verse!With image
