Chinese (traditional)Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, says the Lord God, and not rather that they should turn from their ways and live? Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live? Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live? “Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?” Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign Lord. Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live. “Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked?” says the Lord Yahweh, “and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?” Do I derive any pleasure from the death of the wicked? asks the Lord God. Would I not rather rejoice to see them turn away from their wickedness and live? The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our ancestors; may he not leave us or abandon us. For if they fall, one will lift up the other; but woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have another to help.Next verse! With image
