Faith (2/4)

For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other.
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith.Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.
But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well.”But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.”
For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake. For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake.

And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.”So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.”
