“The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.

Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.
Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!
