24 Bible Verses about Truth - NIV & ESV

The one whose walk is blameless,
who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from their heart;
whose tongue utters no slander,
who does no wrong to a neighbor,
and casts no slur on others.
He who walks blamelessly and does what is right
and speaks truth in his heart;
who does not slander with his tongue
and does no evil to his neighbor,
nor takes up a reproach against his friend.
If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse.

but the mouth of the wicked, what is perverse.

Above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear—not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. All you need to say is a simple “Yes” or “No.” Otherwise you will be condemned.But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation.

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you.
