| For in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. | For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. |
| For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. | For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. |

| And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love. | And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. |

| The one who believes and is baptized will be saved; but the one who does not believe will be condemned. | He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. |
| They answered, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” | And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. |
| The scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.” | For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. |
| So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ. | So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. |
| Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. | Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. |
| Fight the good fight of the faith; take hold of the eternal life, to which you were called and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. | Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. |
| I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. | These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. |
| Looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the sake of the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God. | Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. |
| For this very reason, you must make every effort to support your faith with goodness, and goodness with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with endurance, and endurance with godliness, and godliness with mutual affection, and mutual affection with love. | And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. |
| And let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, ‘Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water.’ | He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. |
| For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— not the result of works, so that no one may boast. | For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. |

| Because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. | That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. |
| Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.” | Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. |
| When Jesus heard this, he replied, “Do not fear. Only believe, and she will be saved.” | But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. |
| Look at the proud! Their spirit is not right in them, but the righteous live by their faith. | Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. |
| For he has graciously granted you the privilege not only of believing in Christ, but of suffering for him as well. | For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake. |
