| And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. | And almost all things are cleansed with blood, according to the Law, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. |
| To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins. | All the prophets testify of Him, that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins. |
| Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it. | When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their evil way, then God relented of the disaster which He had declared He would bring on them. So He did not do it. |
