Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Give to everyone who asks you, and don’t ask him who takes away your goods to give them back again.Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
