Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation. For the Lord takes delight in his people, and he crowns the humble with salvation.
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.
Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, But to Your name give glory, Because of Your mercy, Because of Your truth. Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory because of your kindness and faithfulness.
Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down. Therefore, now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven. For all of his works are right, and all of his ways are just. Also, he is able to humble all those who follow the path of pride.
The Lord makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up.The Lord makes poor and makes rich, he humbles and he also exalts.
Woe to him who strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’?Woe to anyone who rises up against his Maker, or to the pot that is displeased with the potter. Does the clay say to the one who molds it, “What are you doing? Your work makes no sense.”
If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.Come forth! Let us bow down to worship him; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker.
Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave. This must not be so with you. Instead, whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be your servant.
For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.”For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow before me, and every tongue shall give praise to God.”
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.To him who in all things is able through the power that is at work within us to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus through all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.Whenever you fast, do not assume a gloomy expression like the hypocrites who contort their faces so that others may realize that they are fasting. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.
Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away. The brother who is in modest circumstances should take pride in being raised up. Likewise, the one who is rich should glory in being brought low, for he will disappear like a flower of the field.
What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. This is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’
Hear my prayer, O Lord, And give ear to my cry; Do not be silent at my tears; For I am a stranger with You, A sojourner, as all my fathers were.Hear my prayer, O Lord; do not be deaf to my cry or ignore my weeping. For I am a wayfarer before you, a nomad like all my ancestors.

Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.Amen, amen, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.
Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, Who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden In the day of the Lord’s anger.Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land who obey his commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; then perhaps you may find shelter on the day of the Lord’s anger.
