James 4 - NKJV & NASB

You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot… James 4:2

You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. James 4:2	You lust and do not have, so you commit murder. And you are envious and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask. sin desires prayer
Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. James 4:10	Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you. God humility reward
There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another? James 4:12	There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you, judging your neighbor? law judgment salvation
