Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone. When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” Mark 8:34	He then called the people and his disciples to him and said to them, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.” salvation following selfishness

Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28	In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served but rather to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many. serving sacrifice salvation
If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor. John 12:26	If anyone wishes to serve me, he must follow me. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. Romans 13:14	Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires. desires addiction body
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:13	Therefore, prepare your minds for action. That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

In other words, God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, and not holding people’s transgressions against them, and he committed to us the message of reconciliation.
