When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before!

And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he had prayed for his friends; and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.
