- I am the gate.
Anyone who enters through me
will be saved.
He will go in and out
and will find pasture. - A thief comes only
to steal and kill and destroy.
I have come
that they may have life,
and have it in abundance. - I am the good shepherd.
The good shepherd
lays down his life for the sheep. - I give them eternal life,
and they will never perish.
No one will ever snatch them from my hand.
My Father who has given them to me
is greater than all,
and no one can snatch them
out of the Father’s hand.
I and the Father are one.
