Law (2/5)

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. For sin will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. If you love me, keep my commandments.
What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn’t have known sin except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
And keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn. And keep the instruction of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and his testimonies, according to that which is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn yourself.
Judge not, that you be not judged.Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged.
For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments, and he wrote them on two tablets of stone. He declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even the ten commandments. He wrote them on two stone tablets.
Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble. Those who love your law have great peace. Nothing causes them to stumble.
You shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold. You shall most certainly not make gods of silver or gods of gold for yourselves to be alongside me.
Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.Love doesn’t harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.
You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.
The wise of heart will receive commandments, but a babbling fool will come to ruin. The wise in heart accept commandments, but a chattering fool will fall.
Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.
In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches.I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies, as much as in all riches.
We have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules. We have sinned, and have dealt perversely, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even turning aside from your precepts and from your ordinances.
If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.Be it known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man is proclaimed to you remission of sins; and by him everyone who believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?
But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom and continues, not being a hearer who forgets but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.
You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies and his statutes, which he has commanded you.You shall diligently keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you.
I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.I will never forget your precepts, for with them, you have revived me.
Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith? He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you and does miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.Yahweh’s law is perfect, restoring the soul. Yahweh’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple.
