Law (3/5)

And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’The second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain. You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain, for the Lord will not consider blameless those who take his name in vain.
For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. For from the beginning you have heard the message that we should love one another.
We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners, yet we know that a man is justified not by the works of the Law but through faith in Jesus Christ. So we too came to believe in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in him and not by the works of the Law, for no one will be justified by the works of the Law.
Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. You must understand, brethren, that it is through him that forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you. All those who believe are justified from all the things from which they could not be justified by the Law of Moses.
Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to covetousness.Dispose my heart to follow your statutes and to flee selfish gain.
You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.You will not add to what I command you, nor will you take away from it, so that you might observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, that I am giving you.
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.Hear, O Israel, the Lord, our God, is Lord alone. You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
I am the Lord your God: Walk in My statutes, keep My judgments, and do them; hallow My Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.I, the Lord, am your God. You must obey my laws and be careful to observe my ordinances. Keep holy my Sabbaths as a sign between me and you so that you will know that I am the Lord, your God.
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.”The Lord said to Moses, “Climb up to me on the mountain and remain there. I will give you stone tablets with the laws and commandments that I have written for their instruction.”
There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another? There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save or to destroy. Who then are you to pass judgment on a neighbor?
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; those who are guided by it will grow in understanding. His praise will last forever.
Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill them.
The way of the Lord is strength for the upright, But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity. The way of the Lord is a stronghold for the upright, but destruction for evildoers.
And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts.I will walk in complete freedom because I have sought your commands.
‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’You shall not kill. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness. Honor your father and your mother. Love your neighbor as yourself.
He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.Anyone who has received my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.
Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord. You shall observe my commandments and obey them. I am the Lord.
I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.I do not set aside the grace of God, for if justification comes through the Law, then Christ died for nothing.
But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference. But now the righteousness of God that is attested by the Law and the Prophets has been manifested apart from law: the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. No distinction has been made.
If a person sins, and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord, though he does not know it, yet he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity. When someone sins and does any of the things that the Lord has forbidden, even if he does not realize he did it, he has still committed an offense and must bear his guilt.
Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!Oh, that they would have fear of me in their hearts and they would observe all of my commandments always. Then things would go well with them and their children forever.
Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord!Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in accord with the law of the Lord.
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The precepts of the Lord are right, causing the heart to rejoice. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving light to the eyes.
Yes, in the way of Your judgments, O Lord, we have waited for You; The desire of our soul is for Your name And for the remembrance of You.As we proceed in the path of your judgments, we wait for you, O Lord; your name and your renown are all that our heart desires.

Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, For they are the rejoicing of my heart.Your statutes are my everlasting heritage; they are the very joy of my heart.
