Love (3/5)

The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me— A prayer to the God of my life.But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life.
But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.
You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.Do not nurse hatred in your heart for any of your relatives. Confront people directly so you will not be held guilty for their sin. Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against a fellow Israelite, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.
But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.
For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up.I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.
Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters. Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!
So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”The man answered, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
“For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.
If you love Me, keep My commandments.If you love me, obey my commandments.
For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens, And Your truth unto the clouds.For your unfailing love is as high as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.
For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness,
The power and the glory,
The victory and the majesty;
For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours;
Yours is the kingdom, O Lord,
And You are exalted as head over all.
