Blessed are you when men hate you, And when they exclude you… Luke 6:22

Blessed are you when men hate you, And when they exclude you, And revile you, and cast out your name as evil, For the Son of Man’s sake. Luke 6:22	Blessed are you when the people hate you, and when they exclude you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man. blessing persecution evil
But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. Luke 6:30	Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back. debt giving generosity
And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. Luke 6:33	And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. righteousness reward
Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. Luke 6:36	Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. goodness neighbor Father
Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Luke 6:37	Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. judgment forgiveness
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38	Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return. reward giving receiving
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. Luke 6:45	The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart. sin speaking blessing
