I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. | Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you. |
“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” | But Jesus said to him, “ ‘If You can’? All things are possible for the one who believes.” |

Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.” | Looking at them, Jesus said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.” |
And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? | For what does it benefit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? |
And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” | And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” |
The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these. | The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. |
Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. | The one who has believed and has been baptized will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned. |
And Jesus said to him, “Go, for your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road. | And Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he regained his sight and began following Him on the road. |
But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too. | And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you for your offenses. |
He sat down, called the twelve disciples over to him, and said, “Whoever wants to be first must take last place and be the servant of everyone else.” | And sitting down, He called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.” |
