Philippians - NLT & ESV

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand.
Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.
You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.
Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Bible verse of the day

Even when I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
protect and comfort me.

For the Lord gave us this command when he said,
‘I have made you a light to the Gentiles,
to bring salvation to the farthest corners of the earth.’
