When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.When pride comes, then comes dishonor; But with the humble there is wisdom.
The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.The integrity of the upright will guide them, But the perversity of the treacherous will destroy them.
Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.Riches do not benefit on the day of wrath, But righteousness rescues from death.
With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors, but through knowledge the righteous escape.With his mouth the godless person destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be rescued.
A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.One who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets, But one who is trustworthy conceals a matter.
A wicked person earns deceptive wages, but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.A wicked person earns deceptive wages, But one who sows righteousness gets a true reward.
A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.A generous person will be prosperous, And one who gives others plenty of water will himself be given plenty.
