- When pride comes, then comes disgrace,
but with humility comes wisdom. - The integrity of the upright guides them,
but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. - Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath,
but righteousness delivers from death. - With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors,
but through knowledge the righteous escape. - A gossip betrays a confidence,
but a trustworthy person keeps a secret. - A wicked person earns deceptive wages,
but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward. - A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.Next verse!With image
