but righteousness delivers from death. - With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors,
but through knowledge the righteous escape. - A gossip betrays a confidence,
but a trustworthy person keeps a secret. - A wicked person earns deceptive wages,
but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward. - A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.Next verse!With image
