When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.When pride comes, then comes dishonor; But with the humble there is wisdom.
The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.The integrity of the upright will guide them, But the perversity of the treacherous will destroy them.
Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.Riches do not benefit on the day of wrath, But righteousness rescues from death.
With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered.With his mouth the godless person destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be rescued.
Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a thing covered.One who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets, But one who is trustworthy conceals a matter.
The wicked earns deceptive wages, but one who sows righteousness gets a sure reward.A wicked person earns deceptive wages, But one who sows righteousness gets a true reward.
Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.A generous person will be prosperous, And one who gives others plenty of water will himself be given plenty.
