There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
For the Lord is our Judge, The Lord is our Lawgiver, The Lord is our King; He will save us.For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us.
I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked what is perverse.The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.
In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in Your righteousness.In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Execute true justice, Show mercy and compassion Everyone to his brother. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, The alien or the poor. Let none of you plan evil in his heart Against his brother.’Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works.The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
Do not envy the oppressor, And choose none of his ways; For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord, But His secret counsel is with the upright.Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.
Blessings are on the head of the righteous, But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.”Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
Good and upright is the Lord; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way. The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way.Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord!Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly.He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy.Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
Hear my prayer, O Lord, Give ear to my supplications! In Your faithfulness answer me, And in Your righteousness.Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
