As for you, my child, take strength from the grace that is in Christ Jesus.Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
This saying can be trusted: If we have died with him, we shall also live with him.It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him.
There is no holy one like the Lord, there is none beside you, nor is there a rock like our God.There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
Like newborn infants, long for pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may advance on the path to salvation. As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.
May mercy, peace, and love be granted you in abundance.Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
He is himself the sacrifice for our sins— and not only for our sins but also for the sins of the whole world. And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
It was for this purpose that he called you through our gospel so that you might come to share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As for you, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine. But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine.
For God will repay everyone in accordance with what his deeds deserve.Who will render to every man according to his deeds.
Therefore, the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from their trials and to hold the wicked for punishment until the Day of Judgment. The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.
Preach the message; be persistent in doing so, whether in season or out of season; convince, reprove, and encourage, but with great patience and instruction.Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

Persevere in prayer, with alert minds and thankful hearts.Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.
For who is God except the Lord? Who is a rock aside from our God?For who is God, save the Lord? and who is a rock, save our God?
The Lord makes poor and makes rich, he humbles and he also exalts. The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
Make every effort to present yourself before God as one who is worthy of his approval, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, but who imparts the word of truth without any alteration.Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee.
Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
Fix your thoughts on things that are above, not on things that are on the earth.Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
When pride is nurtured, disgrace soon follows, but wisdom is the hallmark of the humble. When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
A man’s ways may seem right to him, but the Lord weighs the heart.Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.
