Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 2 Timothy 4:2	Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. evangelism punishment patience
But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine. Titus 2:1	As for you, Titus, promote the kind of living that reflects wholesome teaching. speaking evangelism learning
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. James 2:17	So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. faith life following
Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2 Timothy 2:22	Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts. desires temptation evil
Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment. 2 Peter 2:9	So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment. temptation judgment punishment

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15	Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? 2 Samuel 22:32	For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? reliability God protection
Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2	Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. heaven mind world
Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2	Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. gratitude prayer
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2	Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. law suffering neighbor
