Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. | Fix your thoughts on things that are above, not on things that are on the earth. |
The Lord makes some poor and others rich; he brings some down and lifts others up. | The Lord makes poor and makes rich, he humbles and he also exalts. |
Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. | Persevere in prayer, with alert minds and thankful hearts. |
Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. | Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. |
