Bible Verses about 'Alert'

Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving.Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.
Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.
So then, let’s not sleep as others do, but let’s be alert and sober. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
With every prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be alert with all perseverance and every request for all the saints.Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.
The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer. But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
