Chinese (traditional)- I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
- Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
- For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls,
For he has no one to help him up. - Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.
- So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah
