Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. | But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. |
You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. | You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am. |

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. | That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. |
Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord. | You must faithfully keep all my commands by putting them into practice, for I am the Lord. |
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. | Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. |
You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary: I am the Lord. | You must keep my Sabbath days of rest and show reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord. |
I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’ To a nation that was not called by My name. | The Lord says, “I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help. I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’ to a nation that did not call on my name.” |
Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? | I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me? |
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! | Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world. |
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. | For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them. |

Who has performed and done it, Calling the generations from the beginning? ‘I, the Lord, am the first; And with the last I am He.’ | Who has done such mighty deeds, summoning each new generation from the beginning of time? It is I, the Lord, the First and the Last. I alone am he. |
I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. | Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. |
Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. | I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown. |
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” | Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” |
And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” | And a voice from heaven said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.” |

He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! | He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! |
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” | “I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.” |
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” | Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.” |
And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. | Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds. |
And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine. | You must be holy because I, the Lord, am holy. I have set you apart from all other people to be my very own. |
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” | Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” |
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. | Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. |
