| Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. | But test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil. |

| Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. | Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. |

Yet a ruler of Israel, whose origins are in the distant past, will come from you on my behalf. |
