| Brethren, we must always give thanks to God for you, and it is only right that we do so. For your faith grows ever more, and the love that all of you have for one another continues to increase. | We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is only fitting, because your faith is increasing abundantly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another grows ever greater. |

| Blessed is the person who has found wisdom, the one who has gained understanding. | Blessed is a person who finds wisdom, And one who obtains understanding. |
| Brethren, you were called to freedom. However, make sure that you do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh. Instead, serve one another in love. | For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love. |
| And now, brethren, farewell. Mend your ways. Encourage one another. Be of one mind and live in peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you. | Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, mend your ways, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. |
| No one who conceals his transgressions will prosper, but one who confesses and renounces them will obtain mercy. | One who conceals his wrongdoings will not prosper, But one who confesses and abandons them will find compassion. |

| Live in harmony with one another. Do not consider yourself to be better than others, but associate with the lowly, and never be conceited. | Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation. |
| And just as no human being comprehends any person’s innermost being except the person’s own spirit within him, so also no one comprehends what pertains to God except the Spirit of God. | For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God. |
| Seek peace with everyone, as well as the holiness without which no one will ever see the Lord. | Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. |

| When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each one of you from your wicked ways. | God raised up His Servant for you first, and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways. |
| Therefore, let us cease passing judgment on one another, but rather judge never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. | Therefore let’s not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this: not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother’s or sister’s way. |
| No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a pot or places it under a bed. Rather he places it on a lampstand so that those who enter may see the light. | Now no one lights a lamp and covers it over with a container, or puts it under a bed; but he puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in may see the light. |
| Jesus answered, “If it is possible! All things are possible for one who has faith.” | But Jesus said to him, “ ‘If You can’? All things are possible for the one who believes.” |
