The Lord opens the eyes of those who are blind; The Lord raises up those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous. | The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down. The Lord loves the godly. |

What is man that You think of him, And a son of man that You are concerned about him? | What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? |
The words of a gossiper are like dainty morsels, And they go down into the innermost parts of the body. | Rumors are dainty morsels that sink deep into one’s heart. |
Why are you in despair, my soul? And why are you restless within me? Wait for God, for I will again praise Him For the help of His presence, my God. | Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God! |
Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? | Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? |
