- But now, Lord, You are our Father;
We are the clay, and You our potter,

If I ascend to heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. - You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
- The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. - The words of a gossiper are like dainty morsels,
And they go down into the innermost parts of the body. - Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
- I, I Myself, am He who comforts you.
Who are you that you are afraid of mortal man,
And of a son of man who is made like grass.
