| What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? | What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? |
| And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. | It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. |
| Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. | Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. |
| Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. | Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. |
| Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. | So then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober. |
| Let all your things be done with charity. | Let all that you do be done in love. |
