| To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. | All the prophets testify of Him, that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins. |
| That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. | That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. |

| Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. | Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need. |
| Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. | Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us, for the glory of God. |
| Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. | Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost sinner Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life. |
| But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. | And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him. |
| But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. | But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. |

| For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake. | For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf. |

| For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. | For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” |
| Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. | Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. |
| Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. | “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and put Me to the test now in this,” says the Lord of armies, “if I do not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.” |
| He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. | The one who has believed and has been baptized will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned. |
| Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. | So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them. For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. |
| Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. | But Jesus said to him, “ ‘If You can’? All things are possible for the one who believes.” |
| But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference. | But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, but it is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction. |
| He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. | The one who believes in Him is not judged; the one who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. |
| For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord. | For one who finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord. |
| Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? | Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; the one who believes in Me will live, even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” |
| And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. | Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. So they do it to obtain a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. |
| Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. | Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.” |
| For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. | Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted to him. |
