However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might display all his patience for an example of those who were going to believe in him for eternal life.But for that very reason I received mercy, so that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display the utmost patience, making me an example to those who would come to believe in him for eternal life.
Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name.But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God.
Jesus said, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or land, for my sake, and for the sake of the Good News, but he will receive one hundred times more now in this time: houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and land, with persecutions; and in the age to come eternal life.”Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields, for my sake and for the sake of the good news, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this age—houses, brothers and sisters, mothers and children, and fields with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.”
But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.But the scripture has imprisoned all things under the power of sin, so that what was promised through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Take words with you, and return to Yahweh. Tell him, “Forgive all our sins, and accept that which is good; so we offer bulls as we vowed of our lips.”Take words with you and return to the Lord; say to him, “Take away all guilt; accept that which is good, and we will offer the fruit of our lips.”
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.Athletes exercise self-control in all things; they do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable one.
The wise in heart accept commandments, but a chattering fool will fall.The wise of heart will heed commandments, but a babbling fool will come to ruin.
Because it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on his behalf.For he has graciously granted you the privilege not only of believing in Christ, but of suffering for him as well.
Paul said, “John indeed baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe in the one who would come after him, that is, in Christ Jesus.”Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, in Jesus.”
He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only born Son of God.Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”Jesus said to him, “If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.”

For there is no distinction.
For whoever finds me finds life, and will obtain favor from Yahweh.For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord.
Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions.Welcome those who are weak in faith, but not for the purpose of quarreling over opinions.
Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
Therefore accept one another, even as Christ also accepted you, to the glory of God.Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?”Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”
Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.I press on toward the goal for the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus.
Every man also to whom God has given riches and wealth, and has given him power to eat of it, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God.Likewise all to whom God gives wealth and possessions and whom he enables to enjoy them, and to accept their lot and find enjoyment in their toil—this is the gift of God.

We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.
