Believe (2/2)

  • Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.
  • I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living.
  • We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
  • For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
  • Whom, not having known, you love. In him, though now you don’t see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory, receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
  • For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he shall have whatever he says.
  • One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
  • All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.
  • Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
  • Be it known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man is proclaimed to you remission of sins; and by him everyone who believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
  • Let’s therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.
  • But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.
  • For with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
  • Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
  • In praying, don’t use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking.
  • For the love of Christ compels us; because we judge thus: that one died for all, therefore all died. He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.
  • We, being Jews by nature and not Gentile sinners, yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.
  • Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
  • He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you and does miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?

When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.
