Bible Verses about 'Believed'

Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God.
Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)Then the other disciple, who reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great: He was revealed in flesh, vindicated in spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among Gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up in glory.
Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. Now I would remind you, brothers and sisters, of the good news that I proclaimed to you, which you in turn received, in which also you stand, through which also you are being saved, if you hold firmly to the message that I proclaimed to you—unless you have come to believe in vain.
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”
All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.Now the whole group of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, but everything they owned was held in common.
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.
I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law.
And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.By faith he received power of procreation, even though he was too old—and Sarah herself was barren—because he considered him faithful who had promised.
Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.So those who welcomed his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand persons were added.
We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end.
So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— not the result of works, so that no one may boast.
