Bible【theonebb.com】【bibletheone.com】the one bible study what is faith (3/4)

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved by him, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly explaining the word of truth.
But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled. But even if you do suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear, and do not be intimidated.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right, and speak the truth from their heart; who do not slander with their tongue, and do no evil to their friends, nor take up a reproach against their neighbors.
Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.Pay to all what is due them—taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith.
We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law.
Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.Abba, Father, for you all things are possible; remove this cup from me; yet, not what I want, but what you want.
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?Examine yourselves to see whether you are living in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless, indeed, you fail to meet the test!
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and in their eagerness to be rich some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pains.
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God.
What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes? When goods increase, those who eat them increase; and what gain has their owner but to see them with his eyes?
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human.
For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.For I am longing to see you so that I may share with you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— or rather so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship is there between light and darkness?
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.Jesus answered them, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.”
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But the scripture has imprisoned all things under the power of sin, so that what was promised through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.Shun youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
