| Therefore, no one is to act as your judge in regard to food and drink, or in respect to a festival or a new moon, or a Sabbath day— things which are only a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. | Therefore, do not allow anyone to pass judgment on you in regard to what you eat or drink, or about the observance of Festivals, New Moons, or Sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come. The reality is Christ. |
| We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is only fitting, because your faith is increasing abundantly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another grows ever greater. | Brethren, we must always give thanks to God for you, and it is only right that we do so. For your faith grows ever more, and the love that all of you have for one another continues to increase. |
| What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? | What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us? |

| Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. | Therefore, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. |
