He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.
Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good.Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.

The father of godly children has cause for joy. What a pleasure to have children who are wise.The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him.
