A good man produces good from the store of goodness in his heart, whereas an evil man produces evil from the store of evil within him. For the mouth speaks from the abundance of the heart. | A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. |
Guard your heart with all possible vigilance, for from it flow the wellsprings of life. | Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. |

Take delight in the Lord, and he will grant you what your heart desires. | Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. |

My son, concentrate attentively on my words; pay heed to the instructions I pass on to you. Do not let them slip from your mind; keep them forever in your heart. | My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. |
When you search for me, you will find me. When you seek me with all your heart. | And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. |
Like newborn infants, long for pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may advance on the path to salvation. | As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. |
Blessed are those who observe his statutes and seek him with their whole heart. | Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. |
